The Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg, PA, is located across the street from the Broad Street Market, a few blocks north of the State Capitol. As one of “America’s Great Independent Bookstores” it has over 200,000 books including used, new, and rare books, as well as a children’s section, a cafe and a main stage. The Broad Street Market, established in 1860, is the oldest continuously operating farmer’s market in the country and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
I love the Midtown Scholar! You got some great photos. I only spent time in one of the market buildings. I wish I had seen the flowers. How beautiful!
